– Joyner succeeds Karen Lynch, who has stepped down from her position. This leadership transition comes as CVS Health also released preliminary financial results for the third quarter of 2024.

New Leadership at CVS Health

David Joyner brings extensive experience in healthcare and pharmacy benefit management to his new role as CEO. He previously served as Executive Vice President of CVS Health and President of CVS Caremark, leading the company’s pharmacy services business. Joyner has a 37-year track record in the healthcare industry, including leadership roles at Aetna and CVS Caremark.
