With summer quickly approaching, I was recently feeling like I wanted to shed a few extra pounds. I’ve already been Intermittent Fasting for nearly 2 years with great results, but sometimes my snacking gets the best of me.  If you’re not familiar, Intermittent Fasting is a method of restricting your calorie intake to specific hours of the day. While there are a few ways you can fast, my schedule has been 16 hours of fasting with an 8-hour window for eating all of my daily calories.  It typically works out great, but sometimes during the fasting period my cravings for delicious things can get pretty intense. So, to curb my hunger, I’ll drink an espresso. It does just the trick during the day, but in the evening, when my cravings really kick in, I can end up wired all night. I needed a solution to curb my evening hunger and discovered a new supplement called Calocurb.

What is Calocurb?

Calocurb is a 100% plant-based, weight management supplement that’s been clinically shown to reduce calorie intake at meal or snack time by around 20%. Calocurb’s active ingredient is sourced from New Zealand hops flower and activates a natural evolutionary response in your brain – a ‘stop eating’ signal’ that supports healthier food choices, less snacking, and mindful portion control at mealtime.  Perfect!

What’s in Calocurb?

Calocurb is 100% plant based and contains no fillers, stimulants or synthetic properties. It’s also GMO-free, gluten free and GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) approved.  In fact, Calocurb only has four ingredients:

Amarasate (Hops flower extract). Sourced from a specific variety of hops flower grown in clean, green New Zealand, it activates the ‘stop-eating signal’. Amarasate (Am-ar-eh-sate) works by stimulating tastebuds in the gut to release hormones which send a natural fullness signal to the brain to help manage appetite

Rosemary extract. This natural preservative makes Calocurb stay effective longer.

Canola seed. Rich in Omega-3s and low in saturated fats, canola oil makes Calocurb easily absorbable.

Capsule. Calocurb’s patented, industry leading capsules are vegetarian, non-GMO certified and used in pharmaceutical products around the world.

Sounds great, right?

Calocurb is exactly what I was looking for and arrived in some beautiful packaging with a convenient capsule holder. Nice!

Here’s My Initial Experience With Calocurb

Day 1

After my morning workout, I took my first Calocurb with a protein shake.  I’m usually ready for a light lunch about 90 minutes after, but I wasn’t hungry at all.  I guess the Calocurb was working, and I didn’t experience any uncomfortable side effects.  I simply wasn’t hungry.   I ate a normal dinner about 6 hours after taking Calocurb and felt fine for the rest of the evening.  While I wasn’t starving, I still could have had a snack. 😉

Day 2

Instead of taking Calocurb earlier in the day, I decided to wait 60 minutes before dinner.  I had eaten a normal lunch and a shake for breakfast. I wasn’t overly hungry today and wanted to experiment with the timing of taking Calocurb. I ended up eating much less at dinner and felt full for the rest of the night.  I had a great sleep too!

Day 3

I awoke energized for my morning workout. I drank espresso in the morning, a post workout shake for breakfast, and a light lunch.  Once again, I took Calocurb 60 minutes before dinner, which consisted of protein and vegetables. Calocurb worked great again and left me completely satiated until the following afternoon. I plan to continue with this schedule.

Does Calocurb Work?

It’s been 90 days and Calocurb has definitely curbed my hunger in the evening. I haven’t snacked at all and I’ve increased the duration of my fast from 16 to 18 hours. My clothes are fitting better and I’m seeing more definition in my arms and legs.

It seems like 1 capsule lasts at least 24 hours. What I love the most is that it’s stimulant free. I feel satiated throughout the night without nausea or the jitters. If your goal is to eat less, I feel like Calocurb is a great solution. If you’re thinking about fasting, supplementing with Calocurb would also be a great way to ease into it and stay committed.

It’s important to mention that while Calocurb may help you better manage your weight and eating habits, it’s not a silver bullet for weight loss. You’ll achieve the best results with Calocurb while maintaining a calorie deficit with consistent exercise.

If you’re ready to take control of your appetite, give Calocurb a try!
